Expedited Review Process for Manuscripts on Economic Issues of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Frontiers of Economics in China invites submissions of manuscripts on economic issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic for expedited publication. Given the rapid evolution of the pandemic and its impact on the economies around the world, it is important that research findings in this area are published and disseminated promptly to inform decision-making by governments, firms and individuals. Therefore, for a limited time only, the FEC will adopt an expedited review process for manuscripts on economic issues related to the pandemic.

Specifically,

The journal will guarantee a decision on each manuscript within four (4) weeks of submission.

There will be only two categories of decisions: accept (possibly with minor revisions) or reject. This will ensure that authors will not be made to go through lengthy revision processes.

Accepted manuscripts will be published in the December 2020 issue.

To be eligible for the expedited review process, a manuscript must be submitted before August 15, 2020, and it must be about economic issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The topic can be empirical or theoretical, and it does not have to be related to China.

To submit a manuscript, please go to: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fec

and choose Article Type: Symposium on Economic Issues of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Additional Submission Instructions:

1. Papers (in WORD or PDF) should be written in English and submitted online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fec.

2. Only original papers will be considered. Submission of the same paper to multiple journals is NOT permitted.

3. Submission deadline is August 15, 2020.

4. Manuscripts should be double-spaced. For detailed instructions for submissions, please refer to: http://journal.hep.com.cn/fec/EN/column/column2257.shtml

If you have any difficulty during the online submission process, do not hesitate to contact the FEC editorial office (Lily Wenfeng Wei) for assistance: fec@sufe.edu.cn; 86-21-6590 2330.
